This No Show Policy explains what happens if a passenger does not check in, does not arrive at the airport in time, misses a flight, or fails to board any segment of an itinerary booked through www.myflightsportal.com. This policy applies to all reservations made with My Flights Portal, Inc. (“My Flights Portal,” “we,” “us,” “our”).

My Flights Portal is an independent Online Travel Agency (OTA) and acts as an intermediary between the traveler and the airline/supplier. No-show outcomes are controlled by the operating airline’s fare rules and policies.

1) What is a “No Show”?

A “No Show” generally means you fail to travel on a confirmed flight segment, including situations such as:

  • Not completing check-in within the airline’s required timeframe
  • Arriving late at the airport or gate
  • Missing boarding or being denied boarding due to documentation issues
  • Missing a connecting flight due to insufficient connection time or delays not covered by the airline’s policy
  • Not traveling on the first segment of a multi-segment itinerary

Airlines determine whether a passenger is treated as a “no show.”

2) Immediate Impact on Your Ticket (Strict)

If you are marked as a no show, the airline may:

  • Cancel the remaining segments of your itinerary automatically (including return flights)
  • Void the ticket value or make the fare entirely non-refundable
  • Apply no-show penalties in addition to standard change/cancellation fees
  • Require the ticket to be repurchased at the current fare to continue travel

For round-trip and multi-city bookings, missing one segment can result in cancellation of all remaining segments, depending on airline rules.

3) Refunds After a No Show

Refund eligibility after a no show is typically very limited and depends on:

  • The fare rules of your ticket
  • Airline policy and supplier approval
  • Applicable laws (where relevant)

In many cases:

  • The fare becomes non-refundable
  • Only certain unused taxes may be refundable (if allowed)
  • A partial credit may be offered by the airline (if available under fare rules)

My Flights Portal cannot override airline no-show rules.

4) Changes/Rebooking After a No Show

If you miss your flight, rebooking options (if any) depend on the airline’s fare rules and may involve:

  • No-show penalty
  • Fare difference (often significant)
  • Airline change fee (if applicable)
  • Supplier fees (if applicable)
  • My Flights Portal service fee (if applicable) for servicing/handling

Important: Any service fee charged by My Flights Portal (before booking, at checkout, or after booking) is strictly non-refundable, except where required by law or explicitly stated otherwise in writing at the time the fee is charged.

5) Passengers’ Responsibilities (Avoid No-Show)

To avoid being marked as a no show, you should:

  • Verify the correct terminal, check-in requirements, and boarding time
  • Arrive early (airlines often recommend at least 2–3 hours early for international flights)
  • Ensure you have valid passports, visas, and required documents
  • Complete online check-in where available
  • Monitor airline notifications for schedule/gate changes
  • Allow sufficient connection time on itineraries with layovers

6) Missed Connections and Airline Disruptions

If you miss a connection:

  • On a single ticket, the airline may re-accommodate you under its policy if the disruption was within the airline’s control
  • On separate tickets, you may be treated as a no show for the next flight segment

Flight operations (delays, cancellations, re-routing, re-accommodation) are controlled by the operating airline. My Flights Portal can assist with guidance and requests, but final decisions remain with the airline/supplier.
