This Unaccompanied Minor Policy explains how requests for unaccompanied minor (“UM” or “UMNR”) travel are handled for flights booked through www.myflightsportal.com. It applies to all bookings made with My Flights Portal, Inc. (“My Flights Portal,” “we,” “us,” “our”).
My Flights Portal is an independent Online Travel Agency (OTA) and acts as an intermediary between the traveler and the airline/supplier. Unaccompanied minor eligibility, fees, required documents, and acceptance rules are determined solely by the operating airline and applicable laws.
An unaccompanied minor is generally a child traveling without a parent or legal guardian (or without an adult traveler meeting the airline’s age requirements). Airlines use different age thresholds and rules, and they may classify a child as:
