This Schedule Change Policy explains how schedule changes are handled for flights booked through www.myflightsportal.com. It applies to all reservations made with My Flights Portal, Inc. (“My Flights Portal,” “we,” “us,” “our”).

My Flights Portal is an independent Online Travel Agency (OTA) and acts as an intermediary between the traveler and the airline/supplier. All flight schedules, operational decisions, and schedule change outcomes are controlled by the operating airline.

1) What Is a Schedule Change?

A schedule change occurs when an airline modifies any part of your itinerary after booking, including:

  • Departure or arrival time changes
  • Flight number changes
  • Aircraft changes
  • Route/routing changes
  • Connection time changes
  • Operating carrier changes (including codeshare changes)
  • Flight cancellations that result in rebooking options

Schedule changes can happen at any time and are outside My Flights Portal’s control.

2) How You Will Be Notified

Schedule change notifications may be delivered through one or more of the following:

  • Email sent to the address used at checkout
  • Airline notifications (if the airline has your contact details)
  • Updates shown in the airline’s “Manage Booking” tools
  • Support communications if you contact us for status

It is your responsibility to ensure your email/phone details are correct and to regularly check your itinerary closer to departure.

3) Airline-Controlled Options

When an airline changes your schedule, available options are determined by:

  • Airline policy
  • Fare rules and ticket conditions
  • Availability at the time of rebooking

Depending on the situation, the airline may offer:

  • Acceptance of the new schedule (no action required in some cases)
  • Re-accommodation on an alternate flight (same airline or partner airline)
  • A travel credit (if offered by the airline)
  • A refund in certain cases (subject to airline rules and applicable regulations)

My Flights Portal can assist with communicating your preference to the airline/supplier where permitted, but the airline makes the final decision.

4) “Significant” Schedule Changes

What qualifies as a “significant” schedule change varies by airline and applicable rules. In certain cases, a significant change may make you eligible for additional options such as a refund or alternate routing, but eligibility is always determined by the airline/supplier and applicable regulations.

5) If Your Flight Is Cancelled

If an airline cancels your flight, the airline may offer:

  • Rebooking/re-accommodation options, or
  • Credit/voucher options (if available), or
  • A refund option where applicable and eligible

If you accept a rebooked itinerary or a credit/voucher, refund eligibility may change according to airline terms.

6) Multiple Airlines / Codeshare / Connecting Flights

For itineraries involving codeshare flights or multiple airlines:

  • The operating airline controls the schedule and on-day operations
  • Rebooking options may require coordination between carriers
  • Rules may be more restrictive, and changes may apply to the entire itinerary

7) Your Responsibilities

To reduce disruption risk, you should:

  • Review your itinerary immediately after booking and again closer to travel
  • Confirm flight times directly with the airline before departure
  • Arrive early for check-in and boarding
  • Keep valid documentation (passport/visa) ready for international travel
  • Allow reasonable connection times for itineraries with layovers

9) Service Fees (Strict)

If My Flights Portal applies a service fee for schedule-change servicing or additional handling, it will be disclosed at the time of the request.

Any service fee charged by My Flights Portal (pre-booking, at checkout, or post-booking) is strictly non-refundable, except where required by law or explicitly stated otherwise in writing at the time the fee is charged.

Airline fare differences, penalties, and supplier fees (if any) are separate from My Flights Portal service fees.
